Actually...who cares....are they any more important than the next person? I think not. They are just the average moron that moved up in the ranks.
Why would they be considered more important than anyone else?

My mother sent me a tape about, I don't remember exactly, 8 or 10 years ago of Lyman's funeral service.

I have met Nathan Knorr, Mr Zoot suit himself stiff as a board. Met J. Barr very kind and friendly he was whisked away so quickly after his talk you had to run fast to catch him and I caught him we had a pleasant conversation but seemed in a hurry. Met Fredrick Franz with a body guard spoke with him for several miniutes. Seemed very friendly but at the same time distant if you get my meaning. Also knew Bro. Friend a nice older chap he died some years back. Also knew Leo Greenlee's but don't spread that around the board he was a pervert you know. Last but not the least was David Splane knew him when he was a young C.O. in training. Heck I didn't realize I knew that many of those guys. Wow I won't tell if you don't.

Restrangled,
The question was have you met GB members? not do you think they are special.
I care, as it is just another thing in common we have with each other that binds us together in our life's experience with the WTS.
I find it interesting to know the same people others know. Don't you?

At a District Convention back in 1959 I met the Watchtower Oracle himself, Freddy Franz. From the platform he sounded like a real big man, but when I met him I was actually taller than he was and I was only 12 years old at the time.
In 1975, the year Armageddon happened, I met his eminence, Ted Jaracz. He had been invited by our Circuit to give a special talk. Our PO knew Jaracz and he asked me if I would like to meet "his eminence," so I said sure why not. Jaracz's talk was bland and uninspiring, nothing like Freddy Franz who could spin a good yarn. In person Jaracz was just as bland and uninspiring.
Years later in talking with Maximus I learned what a SOB Jaracz was and how he manipulated his way to the top of the Watchtower dictatorship.
