Xena - ummmmmmmmm nothing like a potato and egg taco from Taco Cabana to ward off a hangover the next morning. At Baby Acapulco's they used to put Everclear in their margaritas. Sometimes I would need my breakfast taco fix (teehee)

Puffsrule - Funny how much in common we have! I emailing you back :o)

    Xena - I am salivating :o)

My favorite BBQ place is Cooper's in Llano. Worth the drive. They also ship now - my hubby doesn't know it, but he is getting sausage and brisket for Christmas. Ok, I'm homesick now.

I remember as a kid, going out in service in Upstate NY, Saturday mornings. It would always get very cold and we always had tons of snow. We would go to Friendly's, in Utica, for a cup of hot chocolate with mini marshmallows and a hot apple danish. The only good thing about going out in service. MMMMMM! Then there was this small chain called Dandee Donuts. Best homemade glazed donuts.

Yeah, more, that Friendly's also had SLAMMIN patty melts. YUMMY!

I miss Friendlys, being out here in CA. Does the chain still exist?

Does anyone remember Marble Farms Ice Cream from Syracuse? Ohmygod, the Apricot Mango Sherbet was to die for.

    MMMMMMMM

Closer - you need to hurry up and move back here hon!

Xena - I don't like Taco Cabana that well unless it's like 2 in the morning. Their breakfast tacos rock!

We spent more time stopping for snacks, bathrooms and garage sales then actually going door to door, and we would take turns on leaving tracts or old magazines so we could include it in our time sheet.

Mostly chili cheese fritos and bottled orange juice.

Unless we stopped at Braums, then it was coffee and french fries.
