Nihilism is the fuel that has kept the Watchtower engine running over a century. Jehovah’s Witnesses will never run out of a steady supply of news items, conditions, or events which feed their "end is near" mindset.
It is truly pathetic that a religious organization must motivate it’s youth with apocalypse instead of love for neighbor, or true uplifting inspiration. It is equally pathetic that the only means of humanistic service that the Watchtower can offer it’s youth is serving as literature distribution representatives. The Watchtower leadership has shown that it has no imagination, no vision, and no heart.

Then again, it could be because you now get the title but only have to do have the number of hours once required.
It is because everyone has heard the rumor about lowering pioneer hours and how everyone fudges FS numbers..............
