  "Wait on Jehovah".

  I wonder how many witlesses' "faith" that line of bullsxxx is going to save. And how many it is going to keep from walking out when they see a blatant lie being put out by the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger.

  The ones I know, my in-laws, wifes family. Talk like they believe. They are waiting on Jehovah.

  I remember a large number of husbands who were "in", but only attended the public talks and the school only if their child or wife had a part. Never out in service. Most of these had careers and were busy working away at them. The wives rarely complained because their standard of living was usually higher than the avg JW. In conversations alone I could tell they didn't really buy it but gave just enough to keep the wife happy

  i'm a friend of oompa's and i KNOW ITS BULLSHIT, but still go for entertainment purpose. we got some real dumbasses in my congo and its funny as hell to listen to their comments at meetings!

  RE:Vasectomy.

  I had one in 1989 while I was a Min Servant ...... on the advice of an Elder.

  My wife and I had checked up Watchtower information on it, if I recall right we found it in a WT saying it was ok, and spoke to this Elder, he said that there was no objection to a JW having a vasectomy.

  Just before I went for my op, another Elder told us he was going for it the week before mine. I know of at least another JW brothers who had it done.

  Then some time after I had left, they changed the teaching basing it on some OT scritptures about how eunuchs cannot hold positions in the priesthood. So any brother who had had a vasectomy could not become a Min.Servant or Elder. but as far as I know Elders who had already had it done could stay as Elders.
