I plan to watch all your videos. You have alot to offer! Keep up the great work!
You come across as VERY sincere, not angry, not raving. Also you had great eye contact. I like the beard!
looks great!
you have nice lips!
purps
Forget all the crap about beards.
How did Adam manage to shave himself, I wonder?
Why did God create facial hair that MUST be removed to be "approved" by Him and his Chosen Channel? Did God screw up for making facial hair, then?
By making rules and regulations that are designed to make dubs look clean-cut and "not stand out", the WTS has made rules that make dubs look like nerdy, anal idiots. Therefore dubs stand out like a sore thumb. Cheap suits, out-of-date shirts, ties, dresses and everything else make dubs look like they just arrived from the 1950's and women's clothing make them look like they just landed on the Mayflower and are terrified of pissing off their Puritan male leaders.
By the way, A@G, did you know why facial hair was banned at Bethel by Rutherford, and later in the Congregations, like the ones I attended? Russell wore not only a beard but wore a loooong beard and many of his worshippers grew beards just like his out of admiration. Rutherford, while praising Russell in the beginning, began to distance himself from Russell, so he could consolidate his power over the Bible Students. He did many things to bring this about, such as renaming the religion to Jehovah's Witnesses in 1931 and in 1932-1938 firmly establishing his "THEOCRACY". Yes, Rutherford used that word in all caps many, many times.
Rutherford banned beards at Bethel for the very same reason. He wanted to erase the memory and cult status of Russell and create a new memory and cult status for himself.
Your presentation is excellent. You have a credibility that is easily believable. You are not strident and angry and show that you don't have an ax to grind. You should be encouraged to continue and not worry about the well-meaning nit-pickers. Your message will work no matter what the camera angle, lighting, or any other of that bullshit.
Leave the cannoli. Keep the beard.
Rock on, brah!

Thanks for that insight... I guess in the first video I could have added a pic of Russel or Van Ambergh just for fun...
My second video has been corrected and I think I got rid of the kinks. See both videos below... feel free to post on other exJW boards or blogs...
2nd video (corrected)

1st Video (from the OP)
I like it lance. I am about to subscribe to you.
The second video looks better as you are dressed smarter, which i think a JW may pick up on in your first. We're all a bit shallow and make judgments based on first impressions, so i'd stick with the shirt.
The backdrop of the bookshelf in the first looks good, makes it show you as studious.
Overall it's good, look forward to the next one. I like the cliffhangers at the end too.

If you want to experiment (not sexually) you can hang a bright green flush blanket behind you and utilize the magic of green-screening to change the background to anything you want. Lighting will be the hardest because you need to spread it evenly over the blanket so it keeps a nice uniform green color. It's pretty awesome when it's done right and fun to mix different backgrounds.
BEFORE:
AFTER (with green screen):
Probably not worth the hassle, but think about it.
Keep up the great work!
Lance you do an excellent job ! You are calm, well informed and come across as totally sincere.(which you are )
You inform people of your history and background without sounding self important or boastful, resentful or bitter .
I don't see how you could be any more appealing to a sincere-searching heart !
Cal
P.S. (I think you look very handsome in the beard.. it suits you.. shows how attractive a well kept beard can actually be !)
An awesome idea.
