Sorry, I don't think he's interested. Like you said it only takes a couple seconds to respond. If a guy is interested he wouldn't leave you hanging like that.

I think sometimes if you just give a person space, if you are significant to him, he will one day think, "I haven't heard from her in a while. I think I'll see how she is." Give him room to live life and communicate with you when he's ready.

I don't text anyone, nor do I respond to emails on my blackberry unless it's urgent. It's too hard with my fat fingers. I use it to read messages, but I generally respond once I'm at a computer.
I find texting people too impersonal. I get annoyed at people who bump into me on the street because they're texting instead of watching where they're going.
It's kind of funny to watch them walk face first into glass doors though.
