No. Have you ever checked out Russia? They have a lot of serial killers over there. England has had quite their fair share and so have South America. It's been said that at any given time, there are active serial killers scattered around the globe.

America has the 3rd largest population in the Earth, next to China and India. Australia has the LOWEST population of any Continent on Earth or at least close to it, NOT including Antarctica.

All of the above replys are very good.
America is a big country. We have a lot of hand outs and social programs.
If someone likes to kill they can follow the sun and always find a soup kitchen on the way.
If you like to kill you may be a bum. Because you are to preoccupied to work a 9 to 5.
But people are people and I think the ratios work out in every group of 10 or 100 whereever you are in the world.
Thats one view then another well thought out view I have found is in a book called the Gods of Eden by William Bramley out of everything I have read to date it makes the most sense to me in explaining what is going on here on earth.
