Sad to see ignorance getting supported like this, WingComander next time you bump into a Witness that starts a similar ramble in vein of the end times doctrine,
tell them the factual truth that everything that was mentioned in the Scriptures as the signs of the times were actually present in the era from which it was written
and some even more so .
Fear and ignorance goes hand in hand, one feeds off one complaisantly.

The fact is that 6,000 years have failed to produce a credible form of government from among mankind. Despite some gains, the crisis overall gets worse, not better. Is such a credible government possible, one that can remove the present inequitable economic order, driven by greed and its obsession for warfare?
So despite all kinds of problems, ups and downs.......this is something that is already lasting 6000 years guys.......and that is called failing to produce a credible form of government? Sure the 130 year of WT leadership has proven beyond a shred of a doubt that...yes, they can.....

Either they are or they are not prophets. They don't get to call themselves prophets only in retrospect when their so-called predictions were correct. That's what fake psychics do.

Well, guess what? It's NEVER going to happen!
The Watchtower hasn't prophesized anything that came to be, and NO one is going to say "Wow, there was a prophet among us"!
This is why I'm glad I no longer have any of these peeps in my life; their delusions are so maddening. Keep reminding yourself - they're adults, they have otherwise had the same opportunities in life as everybody else, but they hold onto this because they WANT to. They think it makes them happy, and as long as they feel that way, you should be happy to let them go for it. If he was saying "I don't think I can make this work anymore", or in any way indicated that he would like some help, that's your window. Otherwise, you've got to just let them live the way they want to.
