By the way, I love the Witchtower! It's got some really good points and is so funny

Now that I've thought about it, Witchtower is a perfect name for it. It has wit and wisdom (same thing really) and the WT doesn't have that.

    John Doe,

It's pretty common knowledge that a witless person lacks common sense. Wit=wisdom. Lose your wits about you? You've lost your thinking ability temporarily and are in a panic state.

Research, it's not for everyone. So, stay witless, I don't care.

You're transposing textbook definitions and word roots for the meanings used by a general population. I may be many things, but witless is not one of them.

What about Bitctower? The Watchtower is always bitching about something that they think is inappropriate for Christians.

Why perpetuate ignorance on the general population by supporting a wrong idea? It is wrong to say that witches were not called wise people. They were the doctors of their day, healers and not evil.

Ah, gotcha. I haven't read MacBeth.

I think the general population needs to stop watching so many movies and get an education. I don't support Hollywood education, so I don't let people get by calling witches evil if they aren't referencing a movie.

So, you're against words changing meaning? You must know that the vast majority of words change meaning over time. Is only one archaic defintion of a word the "proper one?" How many words can you find in the dictionary with only one meaning?
