Thanks, Mak and Sabine. It was a nice evening, wasn't it? We sure enjoy visiting with you two. After you get back from your Hawaii house, we should do brunch some Sunday. You can bring the champagne, and I'll get some of the redheads here too. (they were gone this weekend)

I love Sundays more today then ever before. Like most of you, I did not do much because of what I did Saturday. Saturday Jessica and I went and did a little shopping for our wedding. Then it was back to my place, and then to my Aunt's house for a birthday. Next we went out to eat with my best friend and his fiancee. Then we went bowling until 1am.

Today I get up around 8am. It did not bother me to mill around the house all morning. It felt great to not have to go anywhere. I felt great to not feel like I am sprirtually weak for not going and putting in service time. Life is good. No wait, life is great. Here is to many more great Sundays in the future!

Ah Sundays! Every Sunday the Prince gets up with the kids so I can sleep in. This weekend we were at Grandma's house (other grandma, not Mulan) and the kids kept coming in to check on me. I slept a bit, stayed in bed until 9:30 just because I could. Then my mother in law made me a huge ham and cheese omelette (prince called them heart failure omelettes) and I drank my coffee. Then I took pictures of the kids decorating grandma's christmas tree. We stopped at a tree farm on our way home and cut a tree...I can smell it from my downstairs office. I love the smell of a christmas tree!

It was a joke between my brothers and I that on Sundays mom and dad were always in a bad mood. When the prince started hanging out at our house he was always puzzled by the mood in the house on the weekend. I just shrugged and said it's always like this on Sundays! I'd be in a bad mood too if I had to get up early and feed and dress a bunch of kids and haul them off to the KH. Misery.

I'm looking forward to meeting Makena and Sabine. I share your love for champagne, homemade lattes and Mulan of course!

Sundays are the greatest!

We're now finding out what the 'real people' have known all their lives - Sundays were made for rest/recreation/family/spiritual activity.

Dubs face a Sunday of "more of the same" i.e. work, and woe betides anyone who brings their family 2 minutes late for the meeting!
