I read a book on cults that did not consider large groups, including JWs, cults because the leadership of large groups is held accountable by the membership.

We all know that that is not true for the WT.

Allowing 'annointed' rank & file JWs to have a say in how the asylum is run would cost the chief inmates their power.

Only the GB has "special insight". I think V did a video on this question.

Quite how the Governing Body, a group of men specially selected from among the 'faithful and discreet slave' or anointed class, can claim to have 'special insight' when they wrote a magazine article which made it clear that the anointed class (who make up the FDS) do not have any special insight.

When does that change? When does someone from the FDS or anointed class get that 'special insight'? Is it when they get their HQ office? How does it happen? How do they know the 'insight' is 'special'? Where exactly does the 'insight' come from?

You should read some book on how an organization functions . If there is a remnant of say 7000 people would you like all these to be in the board of directors in the organization or rather 7 people would be enough ?

What determines the remnant is God's chosen few is that they are to teach and through them nations come to God Yahweh by faith in Jesus Christ.
