Is there really anyone here who is arguing that this is a preferred situation? The bottom line here, is that she didn't have all these children because her and her husband are so in love and they don't believe in birth control. This woman purposely went and did this with SIX babies at home!! Why? Why wasn't she filled with love over the extremely large family she already had? Why pursue more? Get a grip people, this is wrong.

And why does this woman who can't handle her 10 kids want the magic number of 12? Is there more love in a family of 12 than of 10? Or did she see a freaking movie or something? Or more insidious and troublesome, as I tried to point out above when I mentioned empowerment. Do these women feel that thier worth comes from mothering? And if that is true, does more mothering equal more worth??

To me this question ( to bring it to greater light) is like asking ....

Should this women be allowed to walk around outside in 40 below winter weather without a winter jacket on ?

Yes she has the right as long as she is considered of sound mind otherwise no one has the RIGHT to stop her .

Would I personally try to justify her actions ? no Would I condemn those who try to give a common sense response

to her actions ? no.... but I guess thats just me !!!!!

That does not look like a home that was ready to welcome one new baby, let alone eight.

If this woman truly is irresponsible as the grandma claims, not paying any support and leaving grandma to take care of the kids, then grandma and grandpa are enablers. They should have just said "NO" a long time ago, no to financial support and no to daycare. By not allowing their daughter to face the full ramifications of having 6 children, they have made it easier for her to have more.

llbh, large families can be great if you have a little "spacing" between the youngin's. She has 8 babes in arms to look after, plus the 6 that are all under 8 yrs old!! She is a vain, selfish, fame seeking, opportunist.
