    Good point`s oompa

If I could add my 2 cents worth to #6 When I`ve asked this question,it`s either been "I woudn`t take fractions," missing the point entirely ,that the fds class allows it,or that`s a conscience matter for an individual to decide.Don`t they stop to think where fractions come from ? It`s blood donated by their neighbours catholic protestant and whoever else, stored in a blood bank till such time as it is processed in a laboratory ,extracting the different fractions, then transfused into a jehovah`s witness. As you rightfully said it is not poured out on the ground.

Great questions oompa which your wife will not have the answer but her being a faithful witness

will revert back to " Mother knows best" and we need to put faith in the FDS.

Tried everything with my ex wife and eventually she decided to split due to "spiritual endangerment"

    Good luck

First of all, they want people to be virtual clones. This is becoming more so these days than it was in the 1980s, when more people were going in. Having beards and mustaches, women dressing in pants (dress pants) in cold weather, men having their collar button undone during hot weather, and having anything that might set you off would throw that off (their specious excuse is that you are calling undue attention to yourself).

Bans on birthdays, masturbation, and college have to do with field circus. The above activities take time and money (sometimes not even money, just time) that could have been spent out in field circus. If you masturbate, the time and pent up energy could have been put to "better" use by placing washtowels and asleeps to other victims. Birthdays, holidays, and college "waste" money and time that are better (??) spent in field circus or put in the Worldwide Pedophile Defense Fund. Plus, if you go to college, you might learn that it is all a scam.

Blood and certain medical procedures are banned (or were, as the case may be) because they want a method of trusting in the Flying Spaghetti Monster Jehovah God. If you refuse one of these in an emergency, and die, you died faithful to the Flying Spaghetti Monster Jehovah. They had to adjust things because they were getting sued and threatened with bans unless they adjusted the policies. However, it makes no sense to ban whole blood if you are allowed virtually all fractions. Notably, they still make you decide in advance what fractions you are going to accept (in front of Brother Hounder).

That is exactly what you would expect from a made up religion that was cobbled together by men who were just telling people what was expedient. It has nothing to do with any wisdom channeled from the great Creator.

This is exactly what happened to me. I went back to college (to get a 2 year career degree)...useless except for 2 things: My ethics class first semester and pscyhology the last semester of that first degree. Both opened up my eyes to different ways of thinking...ways I liked. Took a couple more years before I walked away. I liked college so much I went back and will finish my transfer degree this summer.

College is dangerous to Jehovah's Witnesses...the cult not the individuals. The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Use Waste

Good luck with you wife even reading those great questions let alone answering them. What a shame that the reasonable mindedness JWs expect from others, they never exhibit themselves.

    From wife:

I have been thinking about some of your questions and something hit me over the head!!! You have the same access to research material as anyone else, why are you asking other people to do your research for you? Just a question, let me know.

    oompa replied:

I ask these questions because I want you and dad to see my questions are sincere, and that that they are valid questions. Unfortunately, according to my research, many if not all of these rules and teachings are not found in or supported by the Bible, which is where answers for truth are found. So why is that?

If a man came up to us and said God had sent him, and was now using him as his exclusive agent on earth to reveal Bible truths, what would we do? First we would think he was a nut, but if he was convincing, we would closely examine what he was teaching and see if they were indeed Biblical truth. If he was old, we could check out the history of his ministry and see if he had a record so good at Biblical interpretation that it would prove he really was God’s mouthpiece to mankind. However, if we were this mans son, we would likely believe everything he taught us as we love him and would never question him since he has made it clear to us that he alone is being used by God to teach mankind.

No doubt there were many good sincere Jewish ministers in Jesus day that tried hard to live and teach what was written down for them in the Bible. Unfortunately, as some tried harder and harder to understand ever little nuance of the Bible, they began to claim that only their way was the correct path. These were the Pharicees, and the problem was that along with wielding too much power over the people, they had began to go so far beyond what was ACTUALLY written in Gods word, that their teachings were a hard burden for the flock. And they were wrong to do this.

I think the most important question I asked was about how we can prove the Faithful and Discreet Slave Class are actually what they are, and how can we prove it to others? I would expect that everything they have taught me must be very solidly Bible based and easy to prove. If these questions I asked are not...then what does that mean?
