In a minute if I needed the money. Easy job, on your own, and if you apply now you might get to be a supervisor...... Which were paid much higher and handed out the maps, double checked on addresses that didn't pan out and went to the homeowners we couldn't get to answer questions. Which in my case was 2 as I stated. They are like the morons running the field for service. I'm telling you we have all been trained for this for years.....and if you are looking for work.....this is the job. Do good work and you get kept on for months. We use to meet with the supervisors at the mall in the morning or at their homes for 15 minutes, and then turn in our results at the end of the day.

When it was all over, the top producers were kept on. By top producers, I mean, those that got results....as in getting filled in forms. It wasn't hard, you met great people, interesting stories...it really was fun most of the time. They look at how many hours you claim and how many forms are returned finished in those hours. vs. not at homes. If you are nice and friendly...everyone cooperates.

If you are honest and friendly...... it really is a fun job.

Here in Australia we have very similar rules and civil disobedience. I have always evaded the census. We're told no link to individuals is kept and the info is 'destroyed'. I take the word 'destroyed' to be some kind of public service double speak after discovering all the census forms for Adelaide (1984) bundled up at Adelaide international airport ready for shipment to an address in Virginia USA.

In times past I insisted on the option of mailing the form in. I took steps to leave no finger prints or DNA on the form and removed identifying numbers penciled on the back. Some time later a letter came warning me over my apparent failure to submit a census form. I wrote back that I had complied fully and never heard from them again.

It used to be you just had to say you were overseas on census night.

Too bad they don't have a question about what religion you are--so I can answer something to the effect that I believe that God is an infinitely wicked Being, and that Satan and Jesus are both would-be saviors that attempted to set us free from God's Tyranny. And hopefully, half the people working for the census would see it and realize the same thing.

Here in Australia they do now and in the 2006 census thousands nominated Jedi

a census taker once tried to test me....I ate his liver with some processed peas and a nice bottle of beer....damned supermarket had never heard of fava beans and chianti.......honestly.....I am an embarrassment to my fellow serial killers....sorry guys
