    Thanks. My mother is regularly sick. One of the ex-elders (a very good man) took her to the hospital when he visited her just to check up on her. She's there now but I think she may be released today. She is a wonderful person.

    How do you think you're mum will feel when she studies the April 15 09 WT?

    It says;

    "Satan was the first creature to turn apostate. Modern day apostates display characteristics similar to those of the Devil. Their mind may be poisoned by a critical attitude toward individuals in the congregations, Christian elders or the Governing Body."

    Will her feelings change toward you or will she see through the propaganda?

    I expect my parents will cool considerably towards me (again) so I hope this won't affect your relationship.

    xx

    MINIMUS- I'm glad the ex-elder took your mom to the hospital and I do hope she gets better soon. She sounds like a great person.

    BOYZONE- Wow. Very interesting. Thank you for that bit of information coming out in the April 15th Watchtower. So we see the governing body trying to equate having a " critical attitude towards individuals in the congregations , or towards elders - as being an apostate . " I was wondering what next scheme or rabbit out of the hat the tricky GB of the WT society would pull next . Pretty dastardly on their part. Thanks for informing me of this Boyzone. I'll have to keep an eye open for any change or influence on my mom's attitude towards me in the upcoming months. So I guess if we have " critical " attitudes towards pedophiles in the organization now - it could throw us in the " apostate category " ? The Jehovah's Witness cult never ceases to amaze me with their jargon and rhetoric
