Jehovah's Witnesses NEED To Feel Special About Themselves

Being a Witness is like belonging to a club. Certain "qualifications" are needed to get into the membership. And like most clubs, there are different levels to establish how low or how high you are on the totem pole.

For many (without a life) being a Witness puts you in a category above anyone else. You don't have to further your schooling, you don't have to work overtime, you don't really even need to get a job in the secular world. All you need to do is be a player in the Organization. Give the Organization your time, assets and life and you will (should) automatically feel better about yourself! YAY!!!

Of course if you aspire to certain positions, then you can REALLY feel GREAT about yourself! But you have to start off slow. If you're a female, that means you can become a "Pioneer". YAY!!! You can devote about 50 or 60 hours per month knocking on doors, rarely finding people home and trying to start Bible Studies. If that's not your cup of tea, you can enroll in Bethel (House of God) and work for free!!! YAY!!!

The males get all the "privileges", though. They can give Public Talks, be Pioneers, go to Bethel, pray for the congregation, become a Mini sterial Servant or later on even become an "Older Man", an Elder!!!! YAY!!!! And an Elder can get into even higher Elder positions---Overseers----and they get to tell all the Elders underneath them what to do. YAY!!!

And even if YOU aren't one of these special privileged ones, as long as a family member is, then you too can feel special to be a Jehovah's Witness.

So, in conclusion, besides feeling better as a Witness because YOU are somebody special within your little group, the BEST part is that any Jehovah's Witness is STILL BETTER than anyone not!

    YAY!!!!

Yeah, when your poorly educated, have a lousy job, no savings or retirement fund, no time to develop your own interests and hobbies.

It really helps to believe you are appointed by god to do the most important work in the history of mankind.

Thank you Brother Minimus for that talk.

I like how you managed to keep your talk focused on the main point of the material...namely the Dub Club.

However, your introduction and conclusion were a bit short and that shows in that you're entire part was less than 5 minutes. If you could expand on your introduction and draw the listener into the cultthink just a bit more, the main body of the talk would be even more convincing.

Your conclusion was also short and unfortunately, ending with an exclamation was not quite proper.

I'm going to mark an "I" on your card and hope that you can improve on your introduction and conclusion along with timing on your next part. Otherwise, very well done and informative. We look forward to your next talk.

There...did that make you pine for the old days?

When I was in I resented being given new priviledges and the appointment of MS. I didn't like the idea of people looking to me with superiority not did I think of myself as such. But, there are many of them that love to bask in the sunshine so to speak. Many in these positions could not get enough of themselves.
