Brother Undercover...

Being a Jehovah's Witness does in fact fill a number of basic human needs including filling the desire for self importance and purpose. No real shame in that. Of course, I can think of many other things that can bring the same level of satisfaction without all the headaches!

Reminds me of those elders who carried over-sized briefcases so they could have every conceivable Society book they might need with them at all times. Damn things weighed 50+ lbs and they blocked up half the aisleway in the hall (making it hard for us MSs on mike duty...I tripped over more'n a few of those things.)(ever notice that hot shot elders always sat on the aisle? joe hober forbid that they have to sit in the middle of row).
And the bigger the ego, the bigger the bookcase. One brother carried this go-to-hell case that was meant for carrying sales samples, not books. He could hardly pick the thing up, but boy did he look important walking into the hall
