  I don't think that any of us feel above or below anyone else. I think we all feel like people who have been thrown out of the boat, to swim on our own. So, I say to you, Hillary is your friend, not your enemy. He is trying to help you, not hurt you. I am trying to help you also.

  I know you are no longer reading this thread.

  But as a reminder I have quoted your words on Ros's "C" discussion board:

  I know you have a longer history with many of these people that is much longer than mine. So perhaps you have a better idea of connotation or inflection in certain people's voices, but I do not find Hillary's words angry. Like I said earlier, perhaps direct, forthright might be better descriptions, but I read no anger into his post. Hillary has always been a gentleman anytime I read his posts. Personally, I find his posts calming in the midst of many of the storms on this board. His voice of reason a refreshing reminder of what I strive to be like. Like Larc said, he is here to help...not inflame.

  Is there something lately that has brought a lot of this anger/frustration to the forefront of your heart? Email me at anytime if you want to talk.

  I would agree that many young people leave the Witnesses because of the strictures. I have spoken to many ex dubs of my childhood aquaintance on the subject. The response to my questions was universal. Feelings of inability to live up to the standards set by the church,followed by feelings of despair and a decision to go out and enjoy a few brief years of sinful pleasure before God destroyed them.
