I will light candles in your honor. I don't even know what that means but being without mains power i use a lot of candles and will think about you, puffing a pipe, as they burn. You're in much pain and i have no magic solution to end it, i'm getting all emotional now and tears are trying to well up in my eyes.

Of course there are big heartless posters here and folk who recon they're 'apostate elders' but don't worry iw, if the bad guys take over we'll shut the site down (like h20 ;) .. Simon's way too nice a bloke to let things degenerate to that extent here.

I can, to the extent you've let me see your life, see things from your point of view Islandwoman. (i guess i better take time to read your other posts) Sure i make jokes about everything witness related from Jehovah's mental illness to brother walk slowly's bunions and often cross the line of good taste but some things don't make me smile at all .. like disfellowshipped children and guttless Elders mindraping defenceless women. Some subjects upset me so much i feel paralised to comment on them at all (like blood and pedophilia)

There is no question the crimes committed in the name of 'keeping jehovah's organization clean' are horrendous and Hillary understands that as well as anyone else. I am deeply saddened at your loss.

I really shouldn't answer for Hillary, but what the heck, "shouldn't" is for sissies and JW's, so try this on; I think he is either calling "Many of the younger defectors" slutty, or he believes them to be strong, independant thinkers, depending on his own personal perspective. Again, I shouldn't speak for Hillary's personal perspective, but I will anyway. Since he is a musician, I'm going to assume he thinks the best of the "young defectors" and therefore hopes they are slutty yet strong independant thinkers.

How could anyone have a problem with that?

Thank you so much. My bad place with HS stems from my Maximus thread. I was upset because a friend of mine who is close to Maximus told me that Maximus looks down on most of the posters here, so when a call for financial help came here for Maximus I protested.

This thread has nothing to do with that, but HS has decided that because of the Maximus thread I am no longer worthy to disagree with him, I guess.

I am not going to make many comments on my statement quoted by IW except for these:

1) I stand by them. Many people leave the truth to escape the tight moral confines that the WTS insists people live by.

2) My statement is of course taken totally out of context, introduced into a discussion of which it bears not the slightest relevance and has been introduced for one reason only, to cause trouble and upset.

3) These comments were made on Ros's board. If anybody wishes to read any of my posts in context, they are invited to do so. I have nothing to hide, either there or here.

HS, the words in caps express my feeling also, what did the Maximus thread have to do with my question to you? How was I making trouble?

Please explain to me the relationship between my question on this thread and the Maximus thread. Are you saying I am not good enough anymore to ask a simple question?
