Paradise Won't Be "Instant"

I have heard that "paradise" will be achieved gradually; that it will take all of the thousand years to reach that state of perfection.

Now, while you may be convinced that it will take all that time to bring the earth back to it's pristine state....suppose it applies to humans as well?

Imagine this scenerio: wounds and broken bones heal slowly and gradually; your bags and sags are still there, but since you have seen results of other people, you hang on that the promise will be for you, too. (Some people may be more priveleged in their 'standing' and thus, faster results.)

Imagine, having your body continually heal for the next five hundred years, but still having sorrow, heartache, and pain of watching loved ones die because they are still going through the thousand years of judgement and being condemned in spite of 'serving jehovah'; they didn't 'do enough'.

How great would it be to live forever with another 800 years of sorrow and heartache until all perfection can be "worked out"?

That is what I remember being taught, that logically we would not be perfect after Armagedon, it would be gradual, we woud gradually grow into perfection.

    Boy, was I duped.

I wonder if Jehovah led man to stem cells to rejuvinate our bodies, they are claiming to cure so many illnesses with stem cells, maybe grow new tissue, skin, hair... .

Could someone clarify something for me please?

I understand (I think) the JW teaching that after Armageddon (most) dubs will live for ever in the new paradise. But what age will they be? The same age as they were at Armageddon, or some 'ideal age'?

Also, I think, in the new paradise there will be procreation. In the world now there are varying ages for marriage. As low as 13 in some parts of the US, I understand, probably lower than that in some cultures, and higher than that in others. I guess that some members of all these cultures are dubs. So in the new paradise will the age for procreation depend on your previous culture and practice or will a new 'across the board' age be set?

    Just idle thoughts.

I would say, according to the WTS, yes.

I remember reading something from the 40's where Jehovah would use "injections" as part of the path to perfection in the 1000 year reign.

It's funny to me that the WTS thinks God is bound by his own creation. Bound by space and time and the "laws" of nature.

    Silly thinking.

Oh yeah, Paradise™ wasn't going to be instantaneous.

I remember quite clearly hearing talk of the Clean Up Work™ that JWs would be involved in, to return the earth to a paradisaic condition.

I thought to myself: Why can't Jehovah clean up after his own damn self? He destroys everything, he could just as easily clean it up. But NOOOOOO, he leaves it to the JW Janitorial Division of Paradise.

That just did not make any sense to me.

The WTS has speculated that people would look around 25, supposedly the age at which people start declining. I have heard them speculate too that people will be resurrected to the age they died and either grow up to 25 or get younger to 25.

Also, I think, in the new paradise there will be procreation.

It doesn't matter what you think, and what you think will matter even less in the New System. It will be a tyranny.

As far as procreation....it will all be done in a lab. Only the best genetics will do. Jehovah promised no more sickness and disease. So you have to work with only the best genetic lines to try to achieve that. It's a new quantum leap for roboticized mankind.

With the new rules of population control coming about through the Georgia Guidestones and agenda 21, all future progency will be at the hands of the System, not individuals.

But what age will they be? The same age as they were at Armageddon, or some 'ideal age'?

I heard it would be 33 because that was the age of Jesus when he died!

In the world now there are varying ages for marriage

There will be NO MARRIAGE in the new system. WT plainly states that people will be like "the angels" who have no need of "marrying or giving in marriage." Why? Because there will be no need for the 'family unit'. Without children...why would you need a family unit? Besides, you will have too much janitorial work to do, cleaning up this planet. No time for kids or spouses. Work, work, work.

Of course if you are anointed you get instant perfection in heaven. I wonder how that works.
