Sylvia, I never noticed that female black teens are less likely to smoke.
My baby doesn't sunbathe, but she stays in the water all summer. She gets all dark and beautiful, I get burned to a crisp. Not fair!

We all need to get enough sun. If we got more sun (without burning) many thousands of cases of cancer and heart disease and other bad things would be prevented. We NEED sun. The body synthesizes Vitamin D and other things it needs to be healthy. Americans have chronic shortages of Vitamin D. The RDA recommendations are NOT enough.
