I don't understand courtesy wave. Is she not doing her job correctly or just failing to give you a greeting?

The newspaper is worth a shot either way. If she's not doing her job, they can film her.

the "wave" is not really a wave as such but a hand up acknowledging you stopped and waited for the children to cross , a polite gesture thanking you for waiting ....Manners ....hence the title of the post.

The fact is if shes so concerned about me and being intent on doing everything to avoid facing the direction I'm in she's not aware of whats going on in both directions........the children still get across the road but she should be aware that there are no dangers on both sides of the road while the children are crossing.
