  Your actions here indicate your a sidestepping little harlot. Harsh words I know, considering I don't know you, but you are bottom of the barrel. What disgusts me most about your "approach", is it runs 100% contrary to your sworn allegience, the "Slave". How dare you come here and show your true colors and yet indentify yourself as a Witness. Your giving the rest of them such a terrible name in doing such...how can you bear it?

  You are here for NO OTHER REASON than to tell everyone they are wrong, and at the heart of it, makes you a hypocrite, as you are unable to examine yourself. In typical fashion, you skirt the questions that contradict "your" viewpoints, and move on to that in which you are comfortable. You are unable to acknowledge the faults in which you yourself are a part of, in being so closed with regards the very aspects that could make you so very strong...set an example for the rest of your brothers if you wish to remain with them in proper spirit. Lean on Jehovah, by doing what he says and remove yourself from where he tells you NOT TO BE. Live the life before you preach it...otherwise no one is going to listen to your attempts of present futility.

  I can't remember the last verse of last nights closing song...but your doing it. Your putting your "brothers" before Jesus, and making yourselves ALL look bad.

  @ sacolton - can you believe that the Branch office in Britain recently sanctioned the disfellowshipping of a Jehovah's Witnesses for saying Christ has to be worshipped? The brother even brought a copy of the legal charter with him to the judicial hearing and he was still disfellowshipped.

  Is it just me, or is that a massive miscarraige of theocratic justice? How repellant! White-washed graves, offspring of vipers, etc etc.

  @ boyzone - yes, really. Hobo Ken is his name on here...you can expect to hear the full audio in due course. People need to know that Jehovah's Witnesses are cut off from their families - lives are destroyed - due to the shifting sands of Watch Tower teaching.

  I know from bitter experience how truly wicked the Society are, their shunning took me to the brink of a breakdown thanks to a hard-line zealous angry JW Father. Its taken me 2 years to regain my strength to deal with him and all the other JW's shunning me for daring to disagree with the Society.

  I look forward to listening to Hobo Ken's story.

  Password, like I said the charter whatever it says is not what they teach so if it is like I said some issue with old teachings or legal dept I don't know, I only know what they teach and I think a written un-inspired document however legal to men is not to God. I just came from York in england were in their charter you can still use arrows and kill french people that never got abolished does anyone do it? Of course not it is just an old relic like the one you use.

  As for using Jehovah I do not split the bible in half and follow only the greek scriptures as some do, the hebrew scriptures are the bible too and nowhere does it say we should no use God's name, the jews superstition in this is unbiblical. Again this is an assumption of the negative in lack of usage but it can be proved that Jesus quoted scripture that he knew used used YHVH when he quoted the first commandment for us to follow.

  Password all lovely scriptures but none that show Jesus is God or should be worshiped as God, they show him to be God's honoured son and our Lord, king and saviour among many things the Jws deny none of these but they make the Point that there is only One God almighty and that is Jehovah.

  The burden of proof is on trinitarians to show Jesus wanted what they would give him.

  Like I said the scripture you all ignore is this one and in following it I am following God inspired word the bible.

  John 4:23-24 (New International Version)

  23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."

  Reniaa, you're sidestepping the issues, as usual;

  • the Watch Tower Society's legal charter document, while an old document, is still legally binding for all Jehovah's Witnesses, including your venerated Governing Body
  • this document has not been updated or amended and this document states that Christ Jesus has to be worshiped at JW meetings
  • the name Jehovah (or YHWH) does not appear anywhere in the extant Greek manuscripts

  I cited you dozens of scriptures that put any doubt aside the importance of the name Jesus Christ to Christians. You cannot cite me one scripture that shows the importance the name Jehovah should have to Christians.

  Please show me a scripture where Christians are expected to venerate the name Jehovah.

  Please show me a scripture where Jesus uttered the name Jehovah.

  Please show me a scripture where Jesus said Christians were to pray to Jehovah.
