From a shelter for abused/homeless animals.

She's gray, black, and white. One eye is larger than the other, and she's charmed the entire household.

My g'daughter named her Hannah - after the biblical Hannah, of course.

I'm back at work and my g'daughter at school, so we had to leave her in an enclosure.

It just about broke our hearts.

Well I'm sure it won't want for much--im sure you give her plenty of attention when you get home!

She has a catnip toy mouse, food/water, and a litter pan.

This day can't end fast enough for me!

Oh, did I mention that she's already housebroken?

    After only one week!

Awwww. Hannah is a good name for a good kitten.

Last year I adopted a kitten from a shelter as a companion to my old boy kitty whose mates had passed away. The original clan had been together for 16 years and their death was devastating for my boy. I really thought he was going to grieve himself to death he was missing them so much.

Mischief, the kitten I adopted, got him out of his funk. When I first brought her home, they hated each other. The only way I could get them to get along was to run the vacuum cleaner. The second the vacuum would start up, they would dash under my bed and hide out. And for about an hour afterwards it was all peace and good cat brother hood. Then they would start back into fighting.

I went to Petco and bought "Good Cat!", an herbal elixir that is supposed to simulate the pheromones a cat produces when it is happy and satisfied. You just add it to their water and it works. Of course, one day I got a good whiff of it as I was pouring it up couldn't believe the alcohol smell. I laugh when think that I might have been spiking the water with some kind of kitty alcohol. The two cats love each other now, thanks to Good Cat!.

Enjoy your kitty and post up some pictures.

lol... some have taught their cat to flush, however they ran into the problem of some cats loving to watch the toilet flush so much that they sit there flushing the toilet all day long.

Nothing like having a couple of drinks together to bond. When are we going out Rob?
