And yet the humanoids running the Washtowel Slaveholdery get out of jail time, even getting away with hiding pedophiles within the religion and causing people to die stagnant and broke, so they can get rich. Seems that the scam is completely legal.
I wonder when they are going to start jailing or levying huge fines on witlesses that break their contracts that baptism supposedly sealed. And then forced to live as Jehovah's Witlesses under strict supervision for life--seems that they want it where everything you do is what you are told to do. Everything.

There was a case like this in the Birmingham News a couple of weeks ago. A lawyer had taken this woman's case pro bono and had filed a lawsuit against the City of Irondale. Another case where someone couldn't pay fines, because they kept adding to the amount she owed. She would have never been able to hire a lawyer and the court won't about you one over traffic violations.
If you have enough money, a good lawyer can get you out of anything.

This is despicable... WTF is happening to our country?

Totally disgraceful and I expect that treatment is mainly dished out to women rather than men.
One law for women. One law for men!
One law for the rich and one law for the poor!
So, don't people in the US have an opinion on this outrage.
At least in the UK we don't have room for people in the prisons and we let everyone go......unless they fail to pay their council tax in which case they throw away the key......forever......

Where are the outraged teabaggers now? Why aren't Rush and Fox promoting "grass roots" protests on this subject?

I think the world can see where the priorities lie when it comes to this sort of 'enlightment'. sammieswife.

What's really sad and frustrating, is that from the look of it, most of the tea party attendees were lower middle class and poor. They don't even realize that they are protesting on behalf of the aristocracy.
So we have huge money being poured into defeating gay marriage and changing abortion laws, but all these church groups turn a blind eye to this kind of stuff?????????
Grrrr Sammie, you've got my blood boiling. The hypocrisy is maddening.

Well..you know what some people will say....legal representation isn't a right it's a privilege...and if you don't have money..too bad..kind of like the health care issue..it isn't a right so who cares? Now, about that phrase we keep hearing about everyone having the same opportunties, that pursuit to life, liberty and all that - maybe we need to rephrase it. sammieswife.
