I did a thread pointing out that one billion 700 million babies and youngsters will die.

It was amazing how many Christians replied in effect: "God can kill anybody he wants. Not just because he is God, but because he can.

It is all his creation and he can destroy it all on a whim because he is Almighty.

No..My understanding of the doctrine , after a lifetime of "service" was that those outside the Organization were going to be slaughtered, whether they had been preached to or not..

They recognize that they cannot effectively cover all the remote communitiies of the World, but when God says "enough" the four angels unleash the storm winds of Armageddon and all the rest of are doomed to the "second death" from which there is no salvation ..

My JW x-husband would often say "If we really cared about people we would find ways to kill as many as possible, that way they would get a resurection into the new system. We could save a lot more that way then going door to door!"

Of course he wasn't serious, it was his own cognitive dissonence speaking out load.

He's no longer a dub now.
