  Actuallly Leo, there is a WT that says that "the FDS speaks in jehovah's name. They back this up with the scripture: "This is what Jehovah has said"

  I would just say false prophet - even if just teaching things that have to be changed all the time - not necessariy saying what is going to take place.

  If they have to keep changing their doctrines so as not to look ridiculous, why should we trust ANYTHING they say?

  Look at the way they changed the "coming" of Christ.

  1874 - he will come invisibly by returning to the earth. Changed to

  1914 Mouthy was Disfellowshipped because she disagreed with this.

  Then it was changed to Christ "comes" seven times in different capacities at different times. (more than a porn star)

  The Proclaimers book p136 now says that the Bible Students discerned that Christ "did not return (even invisibly) to the vicinity of the earth in 1914." A BIG FAT LIE.

  Why is God's Organisation LYING? I thought Jesus said " you are like your Father THE DEVIL for he is a LIAR and the father of the LIE."

  Prophets do NOT just predict the future, they teach people what to DO as well as what to believe.

  The WT has changed its tune on many things that people DO and on many of its beliefs.

  Why would anybody view what they are saying now as trustworthy when it might have already been voted to change by the GB and we don't hear about it for another six months?

  If they have changed a belief than it is because it was wrong (ae FALSE) since by this definition of prophet they have said something wrong they are a FALSE prophet.

  Now they define prophecy as any teaching done by a christian. So all those who preached their Generation of 1914 are false prophets too.

  how can you say it is irrelevent when it clearly shows they were looking for times in their eagerness and not condemned as you would with Jws for this same eagerness?

  You have brought no scripture to the table to prove your argument that putting dates on bible prophecy is prophecy in itself and the ones I have brought up only show it as an indication of the eagerness of Gods people right or wrong it isn't forbidden just not a good idea on armageddon.

  I rest my case if no-one can bring any scriptures to the table on dates other than the ones that clearly show it isn't forbidden just that armegeddon is something only God knows the time on not even his son knows the date.

  mistakes are allowed if you allow the bible to refine them and don't start preaching a false message than the one taught you biblically. then you become a false prophet.

  If you believe trinity is the truth that is your perogative but One God and Jesus as his son and heir is my belief and one I truly believe is the truth of God's bible. People have to decide for themselves who have the true message

  iknowall awake or watchtower are not the bible they are just un-inspired imperfect tools. Useful ones I accept because they are a tool of our leaders and scriptural to because using the written word for encouragement is biblical. There are many letters in the greek scriptures mentioned but clearly couldn't have been inspired as they didn't become part of the bible but still used for encouragement.

  lol I am the wrong person for this argument. I am a Jw that fully follows the bible but accepts the direction of the leaders in my religion. I accept they are imperfect and will need constant refinement until 'what is imperfect becomes perfect' Moses and david made mistakes did we stop following them as leaders? Until Jesus comes our earthly leaders put in place by Jesus to teach and take care of his 'flock' have to work hard against satan, imperfection and humanities desire for what is not allowed by God among other things.

  The breaking point is when you no longer accept refinement and teach things contrary to bible teachings buying into the delusion/lie that the majority of christendom now follows contrary to bible teachings in so many ways.
