I'm in Scotland not Afghanistan. First giving Afghanistan as my location was meant to hide me from the local elders , then it was meant as a joke , and now the wind on the forum has changed it has stuck.

Slightly off topic, but what is a Christian Witness of Jah? Weren't Christians all witnesses of Jesus? Or did I miss something? Maybe I'm not particularly up on the ins and outs of starting ones own sectarian religion.

I think they are the product of Stafford's vivid imagination at the moment if you read between the lines. He perhaps reckons there are hordes of Witnesses ready to renounce the organisation and call themselves "Christian Witnesses of Jah" at his instigation.

Who knows it might come about - stranger things have happened in religious history I suppose...

He hasn't had anything to say on his site for ages. Gone all quiet.

It's very poor that he has been saying for the last 2 years that the new edition of his book will come out yet it is still not ready. Some people have paid for the book in advance.

Why does that sound somewhat familiar?

So, is Stafford the 21st Century CT Russell? Y'know, trying to start his own religion and all that? Why does the word 'plonker' come to mind?
