I guess as a kid growing up I liked to blow up things the bigger the better,, or rather the louder the better I would make my neighborhood rumble there were lots of woods and lakes close by where I would fire them off,, all in all my neighbors were pretty tolerant up to a point.

If you can't smell the burnt sulphur, wipe the soot from your face, and rub your throbbing ears, you might as well stay home and jerk off.
Blew off baseball cap, blew glasses off face, got knocked back 10 feet. Nearly gave my parents a heart attack. My hand was burned painfully, I don't know how I could still have it. A pound of black powder is no joke.
