The other big one was LCI which was this schlokeu long distance carrier. Well all these JW's had this shit eating grin on their face because LCI was spreading to utilities. So all these JW's figured they would get a cut as well. WRONG!
When i was still a teenager, another young jw got me into selling a family photo album program. I bought the kit, but wasn't able to sell any of the programs, crappy salesman that i was. After that, i never fell for anymore of the mlm fads of the jws. That person was/is a controller champion. He worked hid way up in the jw org, and is currently in the canadian bethel, as far as i know. Wouldn't surprise me, if he rises to the top in the org, one day.
S
my husband got suckered into
what i think was an incarnation
of amway by some JWs.... in
fact when i showed him our
regular detergent from the
store cleaned clothes better
than the trunkload of shite
he hauled home, he felt stoopid
( ya think?)....
one of the sistah's called to
chastise me for not supporting
the scheme so my husband could
"earn money".... i let her have it with
both barrels, but so diplomatically
she never knew what hit her
definition of a diplomat:
someone who can tell you to
go to hell in such a manner you
actually look forward to the trip
Anyone remember Holiday Magic cosmetics. Hooked in a lot of people, including JWs in central NY in the 70s.
I was the sucker who threw the parties for the person selling the products. I spent money on food and beverages only to have nobody show up or worse---everyone would show up. I think they came because of the free food! Selling Princess House was big as was Mary Kay, Sarah Coventry, Avon, Tupperware, Herbal life!! These are all good products but enough already.
Anyone remember "ForEver Living" aloe-gel.....Another Marketing scheme JW`s jumped on........It was the best!..No other aloe-gel compared to it.....So they said..
I was in the health and fitness industry at the time.........I also carried aloe gels in my shop..
I sent my aloe-gel and ForEver Living aloe-gel to a lab,to be tested..
Results from the lab test showed no difference between the 2..
The only difference was at the cash register..My aloe-gel sold for much cheaper..
.............................LOL!!...OUTLAW
MLMs are (barely) legal pyramid schemes. They have a product that they sell, but the real way you make money is by recruiting people. The true purpose of the product is to make the scheme legal.
Sounds exactly like how the WTB&TS works.
