I think the justice system works (on the whole) but it wasn't created for and doesn't handle super-famous very well.

I hear you FHN. I really do. But let me just say this -- you read a story in the paper about a 45 year old man who sleeps, literally he claims, with 11-14 year old boys. And he admits to doing so for 15-20+ years.

Take the name "Michae Jackson" out of that statement, and how do you feel toward that 45 year old man? How do you feel toward those boys' parents?

Having said that, I have no probblem acccepting the idea that some boys did make false accusations maybe motivated by money, attention, etc. As I said earlier in this thread, I really don't know how I feel about it but I have major, major problems with a middle aged man sleeping in the same bed with pre-teen boys.

Tex, it all depends on the circumstances. Does the 45 year old man have a Neverland type home with a huge two story master suite and have slumber parties as part of the Neverland concept? Is he childlike? Just some guy from the neighborhood having kids spend the night in his regular house/bedroom/bed might seem odd. Michael's situation of celebrity started when he was five years old. We know life exists in a bubble for many celebrities. I wouldn't have thought it was odd, under the particular circumstances. Some households have a strict no kids in adult bed policy. I didn't grow up with that policy.
