    Isaacaustin..

Attention seekers will say what ever they have to,to get attention..Eventually they go too far..The story just does`nt add up after a while..

Trevor created Linda..That went on for years..Linda had her own JWD account..Had friends on the board..Got cancer and died..Then we found out it was Trevor all along..

    Now we have Reniaa..

Reniaa says he/she has handicapped children and a baby..Anyone who has had children, knows healthy children are time consuming.....

I can`t imagine what it would be like to have to deal with children with special needs and a Baby..

Add in all the time Reniaa spends here and on other boards..

When would a person have time to eat, sleep, bath,or even go out to buy food and other neccesities?..

I`ve seen Reniaa try to explain it away, but it just doe`nt make sense..

Yeah - I agree with Outlaw, I think there's more to this than meets the eye. The real 'troof' will come out eventually (pun intended).

Thanks for your thought on that Outlaw. And yes, you are right...an attention seeker will make up fantastic tales...but since it is just that- fiction- the story generally tends to have holes and become unbelievable. The attention seeker may even start to beleive their own tales, or at least need to beleive them so badly rather than face their own inadequacies. Thus they will cling to whatever they need to to try to explain away. In the case of a rhetorical person who, let's say, posts 24/7 on forums while claiming to be a single parent with multiple kids...perhaps one has special needs....that would be a case in point of fictional tales made up to attract pity and attetnion. I can vouch that two healthy kids are time consuming...so obviously that sort of scenario has many holes in it. Then work, food, sleep, some degree of recreation...days have only 24 hours.

Perhaps then, rhetorically, another person mysteriously shows up on the forum claiming to be in agreement with the attention seeker...even showing romantic interest in this attention seeker. Possibly always agreeing with the attention seeker, defending them and their personal life...yet claiming to not know much about them other than meeting them on a public forum.

Seems like attention seekers always follow the same basic course.

Freedom Fighter ...I must let you know that Trevor & I are friends now.

I was terribly hurt by his deceit especially since I had sent money for Linda's
funeral & because It is hard for me to climb stairs to the post office to send it.
But I still contacted him & HE DID send the money back...Apologized
I sent him a few things I felt he should read.& he did .
Yes you are right about him he had very low self esteem,But after all this time
I believe him .He is a member of a church, Is a Street Preacher . And Yes I believe him
Of course I think Reniaa is another one with low self esteem & needs contact
with people even us... Apostates., I forgive her. Because I think she WILL be found out Also

The one that caught Trevor is on"its" tail LOL

Reniaa asked: "Is it really attention seeking if you put a contraversial apposing opinion that incites a lot of comments from defenders?"

Yes, I do think that you are an "attention seeker" when you post many of the things you put out there. No, you're not interrupting the classroom or pestering someone purchasing shoes as mentioned in the OP. You are drawn to the attention that your pro-JW, pro-WT, apologist postings bring to this forum. I don't think that you even really believe many of the "opinions" that you post. Most glaring example, you write that we must "obey the leaders", but you certainly don't obey the GB.

If you were NOT an attention seeker, you would obediently be at the Kingdom Hall, sitting together with everyone that uniformly agrees with the spiritual food printed in Watchtower Corporation literature and taught by Governing Body appointed Elders. If you were NOT an attention seeker, and if you were genuinely pro-JW, you would not be here at all.

But that's too boring for you really. You need to come here and post pro-JW stuff, just so the folks here can jump on you and what you say. You simply love that attention that you don't get anywhere else.

Reniaa also asked: "The assumption is you can write want you want but it's considered attention seeking if it isn't in agreement with the majority?"

You can post what you want, irrational, misspelled, grammatically incorrect, happens all the time here, me do too some. But yes, when you regularly post things in disagreement with the majority, you will get a lot of attention. And yes, when you come here against regulation of the FDS, you must be seeking something. Therefore "attention" + "seeking" = "attention seeking".

mini, Thanks for posting on MY hijacked thread that's all about ME!

"Ingored"? Does that mean what I think it means?

Well, not all BtheX....Attention is not a bad thing...we all like attention. However, when one has such a bad outlook and such a low self-image that they make up fantastic tales about their identity and circumstances in life, for example, and make off the wall, controversial statments simply to start a fire and see what happens...that is not positive attention. Feeding that is only enabling and making the situation worse....and quite frankly, not in the best interests of the attention seeker.
