My husband and I faded 8+ years ago. Could be DF'd, if so no one ever told us, but we don't realy care. We are so happy now.

I thought this might be in response to an E.D. problem.
Completely faded in 6 months.
It really is bizarre that I have not heard a word from any elders. Especially since my wife and kids go to almost every meetomg.

Baptized in 1984 ~
Walked away 11 years ago, so guess I'm a "Successful" fader.
Haven't seen or heard from a JW in over 10 years.

lol @ White Dove.
I am baptized but faded for ~5 years. My hubby has never been a JW. I faded by moving several times and not showing up at the new Hall. I did not move in order to fade, just graduating school, moving to a new school etc.
I still have friends that I communicate with who are active (very!) JWs. My mom is an active witness but talks to me, no prob. She knows I no longer believe but we do not discuss it much. We respect each others beliefs. My dad was never a JW but did not oppose me and my mom being JWs. My sister was raised a JW but never baptized, said she never bought into it. Our family is pretty tight.
