I believe the problem stems from men not being involved with the day-to-day raising of children like their female counterparts, in general. This is tantamount to shirking their family's spiritual responsiblity and foisting it on to their womenfolk. Shame on the men for this silo approach to life.

There's an article in the August 15 Watchtower entitled, Did You Once Serve? Can You Serve Again?

As you might guess it is all about former elders and ministerial servants "reaching out" to serve again. It mentions that some may have stepped down due to health reasons or for their families. A significant portion of the article is directed towards those who were removed from their position because of "unwise conduct" or wrongdoing. It also acknowledges that some may have disagreed with the decision to remove them and as a result are bitter.

I'll try to find a physical copy and post a scan of the article.

They are most likely working on this--they just haven't come up with a bible based angle yet!

I've just made one up - any WT spies, you can use this if you want, free of charge.

1) New light, Jerusalem was destroyed in 586 BCE - another case of the bible being proven right by archeology!

2) Daniel 5:25 "Mene , Mene , Tekel , Parsin", Daniel explains Mene means " God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.", this represents the end of the days of the "King" - worldy governments and the end of, or last, days. Mene is mentioned twice so we know 2 is an important number in our calculations of "the last days".

3) Daniel 4:25 "Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men and gives them to anyone he wishes", so Seven times will pass before the worldy governments acknowledge that Jehovah is most high. Seven times is 7 years, or 2520 days if 360-day lunar years are used.

4) 2520 * 2 (from the 2 Menes) = 5040

5) Revelation 1 speaks of "seven churches", "seven stars" and "seven lampstands", 7 is vital in our calculations of "the last days". The times must be divided by 7, representing the times being 'divided' by the Kingdom, as 7 represents heavenly completeness (if you are wondering why 7 means this, it's because page 21 of "Revelation - It's grand climax at hand! says so).

6) 5040 / 7 = 720

7) 720 * 2 (from the 2 Menes, our 'end time multiplication factor') = 1440

8) 1440 + 586 (the start of the "appointed time of the nations") = 2026

There you have it, armageddon is coming in 2026!!

Also, if we go by the Jewish calendar which the Lord's Evening Meal is based on, which has 13 months some years and 12 in others, then where does that take us? (I'm assuming a 607 BCE start date, and no zero year.)

Back on topic, yes, they are running out of males, and its a matter of time before this really starts to affect them, as the older set of men start to slow down.... It is a very real issue...

As evidence of the jaw dropping bias against women, consider that at many assemblies, brothers - and only brothers are permitted to direct Witness cars towards open parking spaces.

The qualification for directing is having a penis......

although the penis is not actually used to point towards the parking space.
