Mary, I hope your B-I-L will pull through this and I'm very sorry you and your family are going through this hard time.

Try to think positively even though I know it's difficult. Positive energy will do him more good... and you too. In these situations, I often times don't even think about God because he is so far removed from me and the situations in my life (if he does exist, then ok... but I have things to deal with now and it's not about him). I just think of good things ... good memories and hope for a good outcome.

I'm sorry for what you are going through. I am thinking positive thoughts about your BIL, and hope that he starts to recover from his illness. It sounds like he has been going through a lot, and I wish him strength in fighting this. I wish you strength too.

Im so sorry honey....I know I railed against God when my only 42 year old sister in law got pancreatic cancer and left four young children behind and she was the most devout Christian, God fearing loving lady ever. I have to assume we are on our own down here. Otherwise why wouldnt we have found a cure for cancer? or been GIVEN one?

I sure hope things improve for him. Very scary.
