all still in........start turning in 5 or 10 hour more EACH and EVERY month...in just six months you may be turning in 60 or more hours a month....you will have already received MANY praises!!

Not necessarily. I could have turned in 1000 hours each month. No one cared. Maybe it's different for brothers.

They won't get rid of counting time because it's the only thing keeping people going out in service (i.e. keep them trying to convince others and themselves of their ridiculous doctrines and lifestyle). For pioneers and auxiliaries, they want the prestige. Stop counting hours, that goes away. For everyone else who are either too dumb or too honest to fake the time, if they don't have to make a report to avoid being "counseled" they will stop service cold.

People like structure and motivational goals it serves a purpose. The bible clearly shows the end will not come until the entire inhabited earth has heard the message. We have a God directed work to do and the practicalities of doing is left upto the congregation overseers.

    Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Whether or not the JWs are fulfilling Matt 24;14 is quite debatable and another topic totally. The time report, while perhaps some see as motivational is certainly not Biblically precedented. Matt 24;14 does not back this up. And it seems have have exactly the opposite effect- guilting/embarrassing one to put in the obligatory few hours to avoid a 0, and keep the elders off their back. Certainly not gracious giving, or heartfelf, motivated action.

The Witchtower Babbel and Trick Society will always want the pubs

to turn in their time. If turning time in was not a requirement there

would be a tremendous drop in the door to door work. All that I

hear at the KH is "I am low in hours", or "I have to get my time up",

or "how much time should we count for yesterday".

Y'all should write the WTS - official Watchtower policy is that not everyone needs to get a "personal witness".

If it were a requirement that all earthly inhabitants get a witness first...well...we'll be here a long time. There's about 1 billion Chinese, another billion or so Indians, and several hundred millions Muslims, who have never so much as even seen a Bible, let alone talked to a JW. I once calculated that something like 50% of the world's population has never received a visit from a JW.

Meanwhile, some territories in the US are worked monthly.

The WBT$ will never reach everyone on the planet..

The WBT$ is content to allow some territorys to be over worked..

    And..

Some countrys to never see a Jehovah`s Witness..

    ..It`s all a Big Farce..

    Oompa..289 hrs a month??..Your frigg`n crazy!!..

I`m sitting here with no bum..

    I laughed my ass off!!

In the UK reports can be submitted by the 21st of the month online. But the R & F are not generally told this as the secretary still likes to get them in by the 6th - makes his job easier.

As regards the preaching, I much rather quote Paul as regards the "preaching" of the WT.

"Whether in pretense or in truth, the Christ must be preached." - Phil. 1:18

JW's fulfilling that scripture- now that's funny.

They sit on a bench with mags in their lap or drive around the territory making return visits and picking up their drycleaning.
They knock on doors on weekday mornings when less than 5% answer, or on Saturday when the "householders" are relaxing and just say NO THANKS. They leave mags at laundromats so people can set their soap bottles on them.

"Counting time" is not "preaching" the gospel. And how funny it is that they think their racking up time will speed up the time when "the end will come."
