Isn't it obvious now that the ancient Hebrews made up embellished stories that could mentally immerse and believe in as to the god they created. All ancient mythology is born out of human ignorance thats an unarguable fact.

Immediately after, I also realized that the WTS could never budge on evolution, and could therefore never truly "mainstream" (which I'd assumed they would eventually)...
...by insisting that Genesis was literal history and anchoring WT theology around that insistance, they'd simply painted themselves too tightly into an ideological corner.

Looking back, I think it may also have been my first baby steps towards the conclusion that they didn't actually have "The Truth".
