Anyone ever saw the DVD mini-series?

Thoughts ??

I never saw it but I since hear about it. I left the church but had dreams about being "left behind" and others of failing tests (college exams and such) for years even though I don't recall knowing anything about the doctrine of the rapture at all Matthew 24:40-42 Luke 17:34-36

Interesting how they stopped once I started talking to the Lord.

Anyhow, I will check out the series, it is surely on the youtube or something.

I can't watch youtube at work, at least not with volume, LOL !!

I was wondering if anyone had seen it and if it was series worth wacthing, that's all.

As a Christian, I thought it was awful. Not to mention unbiblical. I wouldn't wast my time or money.

DD, what do you find non-biblical? A rapture or just a pre-tribulation rapture?

I rented the DVD once, out of curiousity, and it was so god awful I shut it down after half an hour. It may not be the worst movie in the history of the universe but lord it wasn't any good.

I completely turned away from the Rapture idea, once i learned about the Reformation and read the writings of the Reformers, and read church history in depth. Also, studying JW and Millerism and Adventism, etc. Too eerily similar. Went through "rapture fever' at the end of the 70's. Evangelicals had their own "this generation" . Some claimed the start time as the time that Israel came back into the land as a country. -- My fave book on this topic now is called "Last Days Madness" by Gary DeMar. Gotta love that title, LOL. -- Most Protestants are pretty chill with each other, as to differences in how we look at prophecy , Second Coming, etc.

The first Left Behind book i found so superficial, horrible writing, etc. But still love pre-trib rapture people, and some are my close friends. :)

The pre-tribulation rapture is not found in scipture anywhere. The whole movie is bad.
