thanks everyone for the advice,i am ready to face the music.my wife and i have not been at the meetings in about 6 months so i guess i can blame some of this on being distant from the congregation.my wife and i have been having problems way before this and we are headed for divorce so its not much i can do about that ,i have been before the elders before 5 years ago so i pretty much know how things like this play out. but it was for a different matter once again thanks

Actually I don't believe that this is a judicial committee meeting or they would have informed you of that. This is a meeting with one or two elders that will counsel you on the destructive dangers of porn. Porn has destroyed marriages.

jazz,in my opinion, the problem izn't PORN, but honesty with your wife. The reason you are living two lives, so to speak,will cause distress in your marriage.

One of the problems iz with the Watch Tower & the position you have allowed them to inject in your private life. Why would you want known HYPOCRITES & FALSE PROPHETS to have any say at all in your life? The Catholic Church haz CONFESSION, the WT haz their TRIBUNIALS & they both dispence punishment. I thought the only MEDIATOR between God & man waz Jesus?

If it waz me, I would talk to my wife about the REAL things that matter to us & leave the Borg out of it!
