To have committed pornea, you would have had to actually manipulate the other person's genitalia or engage in sex relations. I don't see how cyber-sex falls into that category, since the person stimulates him/herself.

In a Question From Readers a few years back, a guy wrote in that his wife had admitted to fantasizing about another guy. He asked if he could divorce her on the grounds of fornication. The answer given was no, since no actual sex had taken place. You are correct, Valis, but I don't think that dfing would result in this case. I did serve as an elder for quite some time, and in no case was a person df'd for thinking wrong thoughts. The bottom line is, something has to actually happen, in this case actual physical contact.

True, I was just remembering those talks about how Dog knew what you were thinking and doing out of the view of thers and indeed it was sinfull to think nasty thoughts, and the use of pornography would indicate the desire for such activity/thoughts. Maybe only public rebuke...that's always fun.
