My favorite time of year!
Cozy, warm, dark skies, raindrops, wind, orange glow, spice, soup!
Here's a pic from last year a little further into the season

Oh! Lest I forget.
There are the new crops of pecans, peanuts, potatoes, and black walnuts at the roadside stands.
Also, snuggling underneath a sweet-smelling quilt with a hot cup of tea while watching the evening news.

It's Spring here, and we are very fortunate in having some rain.

We have flip-flop weather.....(figuratively and literally)
Rainy and cold one day, 90 and humid the next.............this change from two weeks ago when we were in a drought!
Either way it is nice not to have 100+ days....
The winds are picking up which is nice, not many trees leaves are falling, summer garden is still blooming with vigor, berries coming out our ears, and we are going to be planting a pomegranate tomorrow!
They are already moving out the Halloween and Thanksgiving stuff from Walmart's shelves and moving in Xmas decorations~
Alas that is typical weather for our area.......as the saying goes..... if you don't like the weather, wait a minute, it will change!
A new year of school...
Marching in the cool, crisp air (at least once it starts cooling down)...
Hoping that it won't start raining on my clarinet...
Watching the football team lose...
The beautiful scenery around campus...
Birds flying south...
It was 41 here today, brisk and crisp, just the way I like it. I took a pic of the clouds just beyond the tree line, fog in the valley as well but you can still see a bend in the river. Stunning ...I'll try to post pics tomorrow.
BTW--- MY Goodness Sylvia, that was simply beautiful. I believe you have a way with words as does our dear CoCo.
