Have you asked the same sisters if it's ok to have an account on here..? I wonder if you'd get the same mixed responses...go on, try it.

i have...some say its good..others say becareful....thats why i no its a conscience thing...when i get my fb guna tell maties on here...yknot and snowbird for sure.

AE, it seems to be a concience matter. I posted something awhile back (maybe on a diff board) about how I had stumbled across some JW's in search of some old friends. The people I found were of good standing and their friends list had many elders on them. I will say that of the people I knew, very few have FB accounts.

There is one sister that is like that too, I like her, but she is so brainwashed. I just hide her newsfeed. Her Dad helped my parents become JW. I like her Dad too, but unfortunately, he has been brainwashed since birth, I do not think he has read apostate stuff ever, thats why he is still brainwashed. Good people, though.

i so hear ya on the annoying inevitability
(when dealing with the b0rg-assimilated)
that there is going to be some tourette's-like
tic that results in the spewing of the loaded language
that has been carefully "inculcated"into their vocabs...
instead of yelling "c*cksucker", the JWs drop the
party lines of "field service is fun" or "the end is near"
and whatever other drivel du jour they have been fed

they are trying to 1) appear pious or 2) convince themselves
of the righteousness of their assimilation into a cult

definitely, kill the news feed to spare yourself the annoyance!
