Yes, dear Doug Mason (and may you have peace!)... and the difference between God and Christ, here, is that while God knew and was ALL of these things, my Lord, the Holy One of Israel... who is the Son and Christ... had to LEARN the last three:

"Behold, a young woman shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Imman'u-el. He shall eat curds and honey whenhe knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good. For before the childknows howto refuse the evil and choose the good, the land before whose two kings you are in dread will be deserted." Isaiah 7:14-16

"So [Jesus] said, "When you have lifted up the Son of man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authoritybut speak thus as the Father taught me." John 8:28

"Father, if thou art willing, remove this cup from me; nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done." Luke 22:42

"Although he was a Son, he learned obedience through what he suffered; and being made perfect he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him, being designated by God a high priest after the order of Melchiz'edek. About this we have much to say which is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing." Hebrews 8-11

May those with ears... HEAR... and get the sense of these truths.

    I bid you all peace!

    May you have peace!

I clicked on your link... out of respect for the fact you bothered to post something. Contrary to what others may think, I do endeavor to read what others post... particularly that to which the Spirit leads me. When I opened the document, the Spirit led me DIRECTLY to the following:

“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.” (John 17:17-19, NKJV).

In these verses, Jesus stressed several times that Christians were to be “sanctified” by the truth, of Scripture.

The Spirit now directs me to state the TRUTH of the matter more accurately to you by pointing you to:

John 14:6 - "I... am the Way... and the TRUTH..."

Hebrews 13:12 - "Hence, JAHESHUA also, that HE might SANCTIFY the people with HIS own blood..."

John 8:32 - "... and you will know the TRUTH... and the TRUTH will set you free."

John 8:36 - "Therefore... if the SON sets you free... you will be ACTUALLY free."

    John 14:6 - "I... am... the TRUTH..."

Dear one, the scriptures are NOT the truth; they simply BEAR WITNESS... about the One who IS the Truth, the Holy Spirit and Holy One of Israel, my Lord and Master, JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH, the Son and Christ of the MOST Holy One of Israel, whose name is JAH... of Armies.

I bid you peace... and ears to hear, if you so wish it, so that you may get the SENSE of these truths.

Again, I bid you the GREATEST of love and peace!

“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.

    AGuest,

The word of God is Truth just as Jesus taught in this verse. That does not change simply because Jesus fulfilled such truth contained in this word of God later. For example the verse you parse above read: 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. How does that change anything? No longer would we have a way to the Father throught a Law covenant the way Jesus worshipped and they worshiped for thousands of years. Our way to the Father is now through Christ. You see I believe Jesus and do not try to alter what he is saying.

When you said: the Holy Spirit and Holy One of Israel, my Lord and Master, JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH, the Son and Christ of the MOST Holy One of Israel, whose name is JAH...

    In my document I was able to show that the faith was identified as Holy Spirit. This is but one of many uses for this expression. We should all be the Holy Spirit individually and collectively. We should all partake of this Holy one of Israel and keep his commandments. I say this so that you may get the SENSE of these truths. As our Lord said: Joh 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. And the mission from this time on would be 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. 20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

When it comes to bearing witness we know that the scriptues also did this which makes them truth as well: John 5:37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. 38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

    Peace to you!

Dear one, the truth that is in the Bible... or ANYWHERE else... including what you post... or I... cannot sanctify you. It CANNOT. It CANNOT cleanse you of your sins... which is what "sanctify" means. ONLY the Holy One of Israel can do this. Only HE... can cleanse you of your sins... by means of HIS blood. HE... then... and ONLY HE... is the Truth... that sanctifies us. We sanctified... by means of the Truth... that is CHRIST... and not "the scriptures."

BUT... you don't have to take MY word for it. I am only a servant, indeed a good-for-nothing servant... of you AND him. Go, then, and ask HIM what he meant when HE said: "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word IS truth." Hear from the truth of this matter from HIM, then, if you indeed have ears TO hear. If you don't... may such be granted you... if you TRULY wish it.

As always, I bid you peace!

YOUR servant and a slave of Christ,

truth ... cannot sanctify you. It CANNOT.

    Aguest,

I take it you mean the words of our Lord which stated: John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Am I to believe you or Jesus? Well I believe Jesus when he said this. You see I realize what he meant when he said this because he explained it: 17:18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. . . 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I do not try to alter such words because they were based upon "thy truth" the truth that his Father provided long ago, which truth brought them to this man at this time and these men would obey him. Instead of following the Law of Israel they would now witness for this Jesus when he sent them into the world. Without this word of truth, they never would have come to this conclusion and would still be sacrificing animals for the forgiveness of sins.

And what did he send them into the world... to DO... dear Joe (and may you have peace)?

Tell folks to read the scriptures/Bible because the truth that was in THEM/IT... would sanctify them? Surely? How can that be... when the very verses you and I are eferring to weren't even set down IN writing, yet? And how can that be, in light of his words at John 5:39, 40?

"Yousearchthe scriptures, because you thinkthat in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness to me; yetyou refuse to come to me that you may have life. "

Goodness, dear Joe... can he have said it any CLEARER? May you HEAR... and get the SENSE of it. Please.

Again, I bid you peace... and ears to hear... if YOU so wish it.

YOUR servant and a slave of Christ,

when the very verses you and I are eferring to weren't even set down IN writing, yet?

    Aguest,

But they knew and we know and they are truth. How could that be? 25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 14:25-26) They had the memory, this gift of remembrance and would see to it that these words became scripture. The disciples back than had a head start over us and wrote later but this changes nothing. Without this truth where would we be? Where would you be? Still searching the Hebrew texts the way they were looking for the Messiah to come. Or Elijah at Passover.

But because of such texts from the Father that so many searched. there were some among them could answer this question: Matt 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
