My husband, never a JW, loves Christmas. We have 15 grandchildren between us & spend or give $30 each. We give to our 7 adult children $50 cash or gift cards each. We plan this and never go into debt. We have fun with the socialization mainly and have dinners and get-togethers around the season. My husband does all of the outdoor decorating and I love decorating the tree. For us it is a happy time (but a plug, we have happy times all year round also!)

I admit, I kinda like giving and getting XMas gifts. I'm like a little kid, probably because I never had Christmas.
Me too Min! I also reeeeeeeeeeally enjoy all the decorations and hoopla.
My fiance was never a dub, but he feels the same way. We definately go overboard for Christmas. We will most likely spend in the neighborhood of 3000-4000 bucks this year. But we're pretty frugal through the rest of the year, and have no credit card bills or car payments.
