I guess the WT is similar to other corporate entities, but there is more secrecy with the WT because of its legal structure. Full disclosure is not necessary, and is not practiced.
It's fun to imagine that few greedy lawyers could be pulling some strings at the top.
Hopefully it will all crumble soon and we can read about it after the collapse.

The GB president probably has some idea, I don't understand how educated lawyers serve wts for free knowing about false dates and flip flops and evil done by wts? Can educated lawyers be that brain dead that they can't put together the reality of this religion? Or is this whole organization divided into so many pieces that each section is run by it's own group that there is too many for others to figure out? It would be nice to see some sort of audit done on wts and release of all wts sister corporation and branch names. I wonder if gifts to wts are held under wts of NY or Pensylvenia or under a seperate entity like a holding corp. similar to what Russall had established in his day.
btw: Does anyone have the documents for UK finances that expatbrit revealed 8 years ago? If so can you post it? thanks

Is that likely to happen?
Most of the GB are career WTS placemen who have no experience in running any kind of business and very little if any financial awareness. I don’t doubt that they are presented with some kind of “annual report” but otherwise they would see themselves as providing theological leadership rather than having any kind of “hands on” role in the running of the society.
It does surprise me that in the USA , charities and religions are exempt from publishing or disclosing any kind of public accounts. You would have thought after recent scandals & frauds that the authorities would be trying to encourage public disclosure.
Regardless of their current economic situation, they are still a multi-million dollar corporation and a mind-control cult.
That is something lawyers and businessmen near the top could not keep their hands off of.
I am sure plenty of people still want a piece of the pie in a dying mult-million dollar corporation, especially one dying so slow.
On the last CO visit, he said that “mother” wants to stress the importance of the “Family Worship Night”, he dropped a couple of hints such as “we don’t know for how long we’ll continue having our KH’s”. I heard that there will be a new arrangement for the magazines quotas, in which instead of having a quota, the publisher will only take the magazines that it plans to place that week. I think that some of you have heard that they are taking contribution money out of debit and credit cards in some district conventions in the US.
I hate to speculate, but I think that they are getting ready to drop a bomb that’ll cripple the WT financially. Or they are really hurting due to the lack of contribution.
I don’t think that the GB is fully informed on the financial detail of the corporation, other than “we need more money” “we need to reduce costs/liabilities”. I’m confident that the GB has entertained the idea of changing the blood stance to a matter of “conscience”, but they’re being held back because of the financial ramification that a “new light” on this issue will have, you know lawsuits, R&F leaving in the thousands, etc. That’s when the lawyers come in, they are the ones running the show.
Many years ago, I read a book on how the Catholic Church became so wealthy. (sorry, no clue of the name anymore)
The author documented how the church came into a lot of money when Mussalini bought church property. A well known Italian investor took over the financial reins and built a financial empire of Banks, industry, etc...
With the WTS, you see some influence like that. JW's on the outside volunteering to help with raising money in investments with the WTS being the beneficiary.
One JW I worked for was very wealthy. He and his family became a legal support team for the WTS. At their own expense, they traveled the country with the sole purpose of legally closing 'willed property' and estates to the WTS. They were given pioneer status for their efforts.
His assistant, not revealing the amount, told me the estate money granted to the WTS was staggering.
