I do not think Igadsden is a Troll, even if some of the methodology looks that way.
I certainly hope not, we could do with some more JW apologists on here, for the benefit of Lurkers, they can then see the paucity of WT teachings.

I have to agree. A far as false dates go no one has more of them than the Watchtower.

DOES ANYONE HAVE THE SCRIPTURE THAT PROVES CHRIST WAS BORN 12-25 AND THE ADMONITION TO CELEBRATE IT?
Or ... conversely.... does anyone have the scripture that proves he WASN'T born on 12-25 and the command NOT to celebrate it?
Relying on the Bible for these types of details is an exercise in futility. Anyone can use any scripture for whatever purpose they like. The WTS is no different.
Just as an aside here... are you "I"gadsden or "L"gadsden? I can't tell.
This is an antiwt site, not necesarily antijw. It helps jws to stop being jws. In other words, it helps jws get cured of their wt disease. Hope you get cured, igadsden.

what an odd thread.....
OTWO nailed it in my opinion. Late in the night last night, my daughter and niece woke us up. While we were trying to get them back to sleep, my wife sung a song from the song book that she knew by heart. After she finished and before she could start another song, I asked her, "What if your beliefs are wrong? What if 1914 really is not the date the WT makes it out to be? You rail against christians for celebrating Christ's first coming on December 25 yet excuse the WT for proclaiming his second coming in 1914. If that date turns out to be false, how are you any different from Christians who still believe 12-25 is His birthday? At least I, thanks largely to JW's, know that it is not. Would you be willing to consider that 1914 could also be wrong?"
She then went on about new light and how of all teachings this one (1914) hasn't changed. Therefore, there must be something to it and we must believe that Jehovah will reveal it. Still looking for a way out, she is trying so desperately to find a way out, it is really sad.
