Aguest,
You should know that these archetypal representation from the unconscious are causing an "ego inflation" if you identify with them as anything more than that, which is harmful to you if you take them as communications from God, you do harm to yourself.
“The most dangerous man in the world is the contemplative who is guided by nobody. He trusts his own visions. He obeys the attractions of an interior voice but will not listen to other men. He identifies the will of God with anything that makes him feel, within his own heart, a big, warm, sweet interior glow. The sweeter and the warmer the feeling is the more he is convinced of his own infallibility. And if the sheer force of his own self-confidence communicates itself to other people and gives them the impression that he is really a saint, such a man can wreck a whole city or a religious order or even a nation: and the world is covered with scars that have been left in its flesh by visionaries like these.”

Shelby,
All I can say is wow. I would have to agree with Lou Belle and make sure you are not straying too far from Christ. Some points I would like to make:
- Charles Taze Russell thought he was being divinely led. Yet, he was into pyramidology, astrology and is viewed (either by himself or by others) as the Laodicean messenger.
- You mentioned Joseph Smith and yet we all know his visions were not inspired by God.
- Sylvia Brown also believes she has a special connection with the Heavenly realm. That chick can answer any question concerning the meaning of life, where we are from, and where we are going. By the way, she claims to be a Gnostic Christian.
- Johanes Greber wrote the new testament translation with the assistance of his spiritistic wife.
All these people believe they are divinely inspired. How do we know they weren't? How do we know if they were? Sylvia Brown speaks of nothing but love and has a large following but yet she is not considered a true Christian, why is that?

May you have peace!
You have not stumbled or "stumbled" me as I do not look to man for my truth.
Of course, dear one. I only meant to acknowledge any error on MY part if I HAD stumbled you or if what I shared threatened to do so, as that truly was not my intention.
I understand a revelation is a very personal communication.
I used to think that, but I have learned that in some instances it is to be shared (Revelation 22:10).
As always, I bid you the greatest of love and peace... truly.

Shelby, All I can say is wow. I would have to agree with Lou Belle and make sure you are not straying too far from Christ.
Again, I TOTALLY understand. I must say, however, that I wonder, if what I see and am sharing is SO far out there, how is that SO many believe and put their faith in what JOHN claims to have seen? I mean, I've described one being (or, one species of being)... which I have seen. How many did John claim to see... and describe? How are those SO different from what I am sharing? To be truthful, I am not sure that I understand. What I DO understand is that, so long as I share in abstract, but you have nothing to give you an actual visual (or something close to)... we're cool. BUT... once you have some kind of frame of reference... I mean, at least a starting point... well, there goes faith out the window!
There is a DANGER in this, though, dear GNeal: I promise you... they are NOT as we have been led to believe (i.e., human in appearance). There is a REASON why Isaiah wrote:
Just as there were many who were appalled at him - his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and his form marred beyond human likeness -

Sorry, GaryNeal... let's try here:
May you have peace!
There is a DANGER in this, though, dear GNeal: I promise you... they are NOT as we have been led to believe (i.e., human in appearance). There is a REASON why Isaiah wrote:
"Just as there were many who were appalled at him - his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and his form marred beyond human likeness - likewise, he will startle many nations, and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand." Isaiah 52:14, 15
Now, I get it that most folks believe that this refers to him being scourged and beaten by the Romans. I promise, you though, they didn't beat him until he no longer looked human. This is referring to his ACTUAL appearance, what EVERY eye will see.
Some points I would like to make:
Please do...
Charles Taze Russell thought he was being divinely led. Yet, he was into pyramidology, astrology and is viewed (either by himself or by others) as the Laodicean messenger.
Regardless of how others viewed him, he was not divinely led. If that were true, what he "prophesied" as to occur in 1914... would have. My understanding from my Lord is that his wife, MARIA (who is a member of the Body of Christ - he wasn't, and from whom Mr. Taze got most of his "truth"... knew and understood what I just shared (about the pyramid being an altar) and so share that truth with him (as she did many other truths, which he and his cronies exploited...). Like some of the ancient Pharaohs, HE considered himself as going "under the altar," too... and so THAT'S why there's a pyramid on/near his grave.
You mentioned Joseph Smith and yet we all know his visions were not inspired by God.
Yes, I did. And I agree that his visions were not from the Most Holy One of Israel, but from one of the Nephilim (who may have appeared as an able-bodied man, but spirits do that from time to time)
Sylvia Brown also believes she has a special connection with the Heavenly realm. That chick can answer any question concerning the meaning of life, where we are from, and where we are going. By the way, she claims to be a Gnostic Christian.
Okay, here's the thing with Ms. Brown and those like her: like me, she may have, at some time, been given the "gift" of discerning spirits. However, those who are given such gifts are NOT to use them for personal gain, for money, or as psyhics or mediums between this and the spirit realm. Indeed, unless such one goes THROUGH the Door, Christ, while it IS true that they can enter... they are actually "thieves"... and breaking into another's (God's) house.
Johanes Greber wrote the new testament translation with the assistance of his spiritistic wife.
Really! I did not know that. I DID know that, for some reason, women appear to be MUCH more "spiritual" than men... to the men's detriment. It is why my Lord first appeared to the women: even when the men reported it to them, the men did not believe. And Thomas had to see physical proof. But it was not Thomas who my Lord pronounced "happy," but those who do NOT see... and yet, believe.
All these people believe they are divinely inspired. How do we know they weren't? How do we know if they were?
You only need ask, dear GaryNeal. Truly. With regard to them... and, if you are so inclined, with regard to me. My Lord will not lie to you.
Sylvia Brown speaks of nothing but love and has a large following but yet she is not considered a true Christian, why is that?
Because she isn't. Ghandi spoke of love and had a large following... and he was not a christian, either.
I hope this helps, dear one. Again, though, you do not need to ask me or take my word for ANY of this. You can simply ask for yourself. Just make sure to LISTEN... and put FAITH in what you hear (oh, and ask who it is that is speaking, so that you're not misled!).
I bid you peace!

May you, too, have peace!
You should know that these archetypal representation from the unconscious are causing an "ego inflation" if you identify with them as anything more than that, which is harmful to you if you take them as communications from God, you do harm to yourself.
First, you are taking the and quoting the presumptions of men. Unfortunately, those don't apply. And, to be honest, I cannot see where I am harming myself. In fact, I see just the opposite. I have become a MUCH more compassionate, much LESS judgmental, much MORE peaceful, much LESS anxious, much MORE giving, much LESS taking... and WAY more spiritual person... than I ever was before all of this started happening.
Many here attribute their understanding of who and what the WTBTS is... and is not... to men. Like Randy Waters, Ray Franz, heck, even my dear beloved Farkel. And this may be true... for them. But NONE of these showed ME such truths. I have been honest from DAY ONE as to how I came to know and understand... and still come to know and understand what I do: by means of holy spirit, which spirit I receive from THE Holy Spirit and Holy One of Israel, my Lord and master, JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH, who is the Son and Christ of the Most Holy One of Israel, JAH of Armies.
Now, I get it that it easier to say a person showed you, if that's true, living in the world that we do. But that is NOT true for me. And I won't lie about it... no matter how "crazy" you or anyone else thinks I might be. If I AM crazy... then it's a dang GOOD crazy... and I... and those who know and love ME... are totally fine with it.
“The most dangerous man in the world is the contemplative who is guided by nobody.
I would almost agree. I think the most dangerous man is the one who is guided by a bad spirit. While it is true that one who is guided by nobody is "lost," he is not necessarily harmful. One who is guided by a bad spirit can and will do harm to others. He is NEVER harmless.
He trusts his own visions.
Well, then, praise JAH that the visions I receive are NOT my own (I think I've said that about a jillion times!)
He obeys the attractions of an interior voice but will not listen to other men.
This is a "funny" phrase, for virtually EVERYONE "obeys... an interior voice." The PROBLEM is WHOSE voice it is. As for listening to other men... well, just look where THAT'S gotten earthling man...
He identifies the will of God with anything that makes him feel, within his own heart, a big, warm, sweet interior glow.
Oh, c'mon, now! There are a PLETHORA of things that give ME a big, warm, sweet interior glow... and they have absolutely NOTHING to do with God (well, not directly, anyway). My husband, my children, my puppies (well, almost any puppies...)... my friends, my work, THIS work... my home. Helping strangers. Helping clients. Helping friends. I could go on...
There are times, however, when the will of God does NOT give me such a "glow." For example, when I share the TRUTH about what His species looks like... KNOWING that folks are going think me absolutely dotty. What, you think I LIKE people questioning my mental faculties? Seriously?? I want to be considered as "normal" as the next person. And I am. I tell you honestly, dear GNeal... IF you heard and saw what I have/do... you would be here posting the exact same things. Regardless of what people thought, wrote, said, responded, etc. You wouldn't be able to help it... because it IS wonderful.
I mean, I know it sounds scary to some of YOU... but it isn't scary at ALL to me. Why? Because... I KNOW my Lord. And he isn't scary at all. Not at all.
The sweeter and the warmer the feeling is the more he is convinced of his own infallibility.
Oh, see, now I KNOW you don't ME at all. Me? Infallible?? Are you KIDDING?????
And if the sheer force of his own self-confidence communicates itself to other people and gives them the impression that he is really a saint
,I am not a "saint," dear GNeal... at least, not at most people consider saints. Ain't nobody gonna be erecting no monutments to me, truly. Indeed, the ONLY people that know about me, outside of those close to me... are you folks here. And I have absolutely NO intention of going past that. Also, I do not have the gift of healing, so I won't be performing any miracles of that sort. The prophesies I'm given are only for the Body of Christ that I am directed to, so I won't be sharing any of those here. Although I can interpret tongues, I can't speak in them, and it's rare that I am called upon to interpret (only happened once, actually), so that's not likely to garner any attention.
I'm not a saint, dear GNeal. I'm just me... Shelby. A good-for-nothing-servant who just isn't afraid to speak/share the truth... even if it's... well, pretty unbelievable. I LIKE truth. I think it's a GOOD thing. I know that most people "can't handle" the truth... don't want to hear it. But IMHO that's THEIR problem... not mine.
such a man can wreck a whole city or a religious order or even a nation: and the world is covered with scars that have been left in its flesh by visionaries like these.” - Thomas Merton, Seeds of Contemplation
I don't know who Thomas Merton is... but he, too, is just a man. And I personally can't see anything wrong with "wrecking" a religion order. In fact, that's a GOOD thing, in some instances, wouldn't you say? Indeed, the world is covered with scars from such "orders" are they not? As for wrecking cities, I think many a conqueror, government, or monarchy has done similar... for the "gods" of mammon, property, and/or power... as much as for "god."
I bid you peace, dear GNeal... and perhaps a little more faith.

and my sincere apologies for not acknowledging your dear greeting earlier! I meant to, then got caught up in responding here, then the new post, then in responding there, then... then...
But thank you! Your very kind words make my heart rejoice. May the undeserved kindness and mercy of my God and Father, the Most Holy One of Israel, JAH of Armies, and the love and peace of His and Christ, my Lord, JAHESHUA MISCHAJAH, the Holy Spirit and Holy One of Israel... be upon you... you and your entire household... to time indefinite!
Your servant and a slave of Christ,
