I think this was directed a bit at Steve Klemetti

I also heard recently from a friend in Florida that his site has closed due to the bad economy.

The same almost exact thing was said about 20 years ago. A sister in the KH I attended prided herself on copying talks on cassette tapes to lend to others. When this same drivel came out, she stopped lending them.

Wouldn't that apply to much of the NT where Paul's letters address the local needs of specific congregations? What about attributing the anonymous book of Hebrews to Paul because it kinda sounds like his style?

"Further, circulating transcripts or recordings of talks might tempt some to give or accept undue attention and honour."

Oh whatever! That is a flimsy excuse even by Watchtower standards. Undue honour to who anyway? The person doing the circulating or the person giving the talk? Maybe both.

I cannot read page 1. Well, recordings of talks shared with others increases their excuse to blow off going to the Assembly or Kingdom Hall.

"Well, I cannot change my plans and attend the C.O.'s talk. Could someone record it for me?"
