hey guys, my wife is expecting, i havent been to a meeting in about 1 and 1/2 years. do you think that they will try to find us to make sure my wife doesnt take blood in case of a problem? i guess im paranoid. i mean, they would have to call all the local hospitals and birth centers to find out if any jw's are there. i havent spoken to anyone from my hall for a year and a half. i am pretty much off the radar. i guess i have answered my own question. LOL.

if by chance while she is delevering they arrive, i will tell the staff to let no one near her. we ripped up our watchtower no blood death cards a while ago.

The JWs have to preserve the BABIES you guys because THATS THEIR ONLY SOURCE OF NEW RECRUITS ANY MORE. Self preservation is all that is. They could NOT care less about those women.

Your momma....be aware if you are trying to fly under the radar, that hospital personnel who are JWs WILL TELL ON YOU if you break any of their rules or take blood. There is no such thing as patient confidentiality within the JW ranks. None...zip.

Blood Guilty Governing Body!

How many deaths are you going to be responsible for until you finally change your dumb ass policy banning blood transfusions with the threat of disfellowshipping those who choose otherwise?

They are trying to salve their consciences with letters of false concerns for pregnant mother drawing attention to articles in the Awake “Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies” as if not following this advice could be the blame for the deaths and not their stupid policy.

The article Baba linked said witnesses don't believe in the storage of blood. That it just not true. They take many products extracted from blood that has been stored. I can't understand why the media doesn't call them out on their lies.

The blood issue is the scariest part of having grown kids still in. I often wonder that if it was likely that men would suffer blood loss and death, they would change the rules. Women seem to be dispensable to them.

There is nothing that modern medicine has to offer for sudden severe blood loss except blood transfusions. It is very misleading and reprehensible for the society to make their followers think otherwise. They get upset with the medical staff that is begging them to take the transfusion because they know it is the only way to help them.
