    AlanF,

Rutherford wrote the Creation book in 1927. So, does this mean that God is using me?

Really. Then call the Society (718-560-5000) and ask to speak with the author of, say, the Creation book, or of any particular Watchtower or Awake! article you like. Report back here what they tell you.

Oh Alan you're going in circles boy! You claim "Various researchers for the book found out a lot about the history of the Society, from their own records"
I ask for you to prove your "inside" informant and now you tell me to call them on other books? I thought we were talking about the Proclaimers book?

Oh? If I could set it up, would you be willing to speak with one of them over the phone? If so, email me your telephone number.
Why don't you ask him to email me his name and telephone number. Feel free to use the email on my profile.

    YoYo,
If thr President's spokesman REALLY screwed up he'd be fired! The WTS was fired long ago. WT and Awake articles come mostly from old articles. New light is accomplished by a 2/3 vote. Read Ray Franz books, he was there after all.
    Oops! Forgot you aren't allowed.

You act as if Ray Franz was inspired by God, you follower of men. He could be playing you like a fool, and you wouldn't even notice because he was there. lol.

AlanF: What happened? No email yet, I'm still waiting...

The Proclaimer's book is a history book on the Watchtower Society, Correct? I am not certain, but I think it is. Perhaps Yoyomama can correct me if it isn't. But for my sake, I will assume it is the most recent history book on Jehovah's Witnesses.

Yoyomama, could you please quote me where they admit to making mistakes. I have never read that book, but I wouldn't mind knowing if they ever owned up to their shortcomings. The last I knew they were still blaming the individual witnesses for their predictions about 1975 and so on. But if the Proclaimer's book sets the record strait, that would go a long way to repairing the rift that exists between them and me.

It is very hard to be totally objective when writing one's own history. One usually omits anything that might not look too good to other people. For a history book to be written by the Society for the Society may not be totally believable to an outsider. It would have much more credit to outsiders if it was written independantly, by someone who has nothing to loose one way or the other. Maybe this is what AlanF is speaking about. For all I know he might have insiders who report events to him. Like you, I doubt it. However, all Watchtower articles today seem to be written anonymously, for whatever reason. In my opinion, I see no harm in taking credit for one's own Bible research.

Hopefully Yoyomama, you will grant me what I am looking for. And that is a reference where the Watchtower Society owns up to their shortcomings. Have a good day, and peace to you.

Good Lord, but you're stupid, YoYo! Look at the sequence of conversation here:

A: The Society refuses to give out the names of anyone in or connected with the
Writing Department. Should I be different?

Y: This is so funny. Obviously you are lying.

To any normal person you said that I was lying about the Society giving out
    names. That's why I replied:

A: Really. Then call the Society (718-560-5000) and ask to speak with the
author of, say, the Creation book... Report back here what they tell you.

You're so stupid that not only do you reply to things not said, but you don't
even know that the answers you get are inconsistent with what you had in mind.
Thus we find your next response:

Y: Oh Alan you're going in circles boy! You claim "Various researchers for the
book found out a lot about the history of the Society, from their own records"
I ask for you to prove your "inside" informant

Now I understand what you had in mind. Please learn to think properly so that
    you can converse properly.

Nevertheless, I'm not going to give out any researcher's names without their
consent. They're not keen on dealing with braindead JWs like you, so I have to
check first. And they don't want their personal information given out. Hence,
if you want to talk with them, you email me your phone number. And quit
trying to play games with this "you contact me first" bullshit. Anyone can see
the kind of games you play.

    AlanF,
I really would like to know first hand myself. Not so I could post the conversation, but I do want the truth. If I emailed you, AlanF, my phone number could we talk about it. Or is this offer only good for Yoyomama? I am certain you are serious, but I thought I might post here first. Please let me know one way or the other.
